New Beginnings has a variety of volunteer roles:

• Extra help during worship services inside the prison

• Serving on the Outside Council

• Gathering and delivering greeting cards to the Lutheran Center

• Helping plan & execute the annual Chow Hall Gala

All volunteers who will work inside the prison must submit a Volunteer Application to Pastor Samm and go through volunteer training offered by the Colorado Department of Corrections. This consists of an initial 8-hour in-person or virtual training, and annual 2-hour update classes.
