2 Kings 22:2

2 He (Josiah) did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of his father David; he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

When I meditate on this particular verse, I feel a certain amount of pride in my fellow believer. I also feel I have high expectations of myself.

There is nothing that I want more in this life than to be able to make my heavenly Father happy and proud of me. I don’t want to be another aimless sinner in a very unhealthy world. I want to do right in the eyes of the Lord, and I want God to be able to use me as a light pointing towards his holy son, Jesus.

I want to be an inspiration and an example for others. I want to live with integrity and do the right thing as much as I can.
